This is an ideal training course for people who have never used a computer before, or who have never used Microsoft Office, incorporating Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Internet and Email.

The course is for absolute beginners giving a very basic introduction to computers, preparing you for either the OCR (CLAIT) Computer Literacy & Information Technology Stage 1 course or the BCS (ECDL) European Computer Driving Licence. Students will work towards achieving certification in the PC Learner Licence before moving on.

The course has been designed to cover key concepts of computing and has been broken down into seven modules to make learning easier to manage.

  • Spreadsheets

The course aims to prepare students by working through the corresponding workbook, giving them confidence and skills whilst under constant supervision from our fully qualified tutors. The classes are warm and friendly with a minimum of two tutors per class to ensure that your individual needs are met.
